Our Story

Since 2008, Melvin Ramos has lived among planks, sanders, and flawless finishes. He began his career in Houston, Texas, working for a large flooring company, where he specialized in every aspect of hardwood floors—from installation (nail-down, glue-down, and floating) and subfloor preparation to professional sanding, staining, finishing, and full restorations. The high volume and strict standards in Houston forged the technical foundation and service discipline that define his work today.

With 12+ years of proven experience, Melvin took the next step: relocating to Minnesota to build a company with a clear vision—deliver close, honest, craftsman-level service with the same precision he mastered in Houston. Today, we proudly serve residential and commercial clients alike, handling everything from detailed home projects to high-traffic spaces that demand durability and style.

Warranty (1-Year) Year Installation Warranty

We stand behind our workmanship for 12 months from your completion date. If a workmanship-related issue appears—like loose boards, transitions, or trim—we’ll repair it at no charge.

What’s not covered: moisture or flood damage, normal seasonal gaps within tolerance, manufacturer defects, misuse/abrasive cleaners, pet or high-heel damage, or structural movement unrelated to installation.

Conditions: maintain indoor relative humidity 30–50% and follow the manufacturer/NWFA care guidelines.

How to file a claim: email photos and your address to cesarwoodflooring@gmail.com or call (651) 515-5641 within 10 days of noticing the issue. We’ll schedule an inspection and make it right if it’s covered. Non-transferable. Limited to workmanship correction.
